Growing up, Christmas pajamas were a must—not necessarily Christmas themed, but a new pair of PJs for the holidays were always in order. They were usually the kind that had the feet in them and zipped up from the ankles—you know, the ones your throat has been zipped up in at least once. Fast forward a couple of decades and most of us have ditched the one-piece situation. No judgment if the one-piece is still your thing. None.

So what does your Christmas morning attire look like these days? Are you:

Traditional: Plaid, plaid, plaid… is there anything more Christmas morning than a matching plaid pajama set? Can’t you see it—family photos, sitting around the tree opening gifts—in plaid PJs. Old Navy, GAP and J. Crew always have fun sets to choose from for the holidays.

Sweet + Sexy: Maybe you two haven’t expanded your family, and you’ve decided to spend Christmas morning opening gifts just the two of you. There’s no need to be modest; open those gifts in that negligee. If you’re in search for a sexy little number, Victoria’s Secret is the go-to.

Comfy + Casual: If you’re not a fan of matching sets, you can always mix and match separates. A graphic tee and sweatpants can easily double as an outfit if accessorized correctly. Looking for the perfect sweats? Try Target or Forever 21, they always have a large selection at great prices for men and women.

Christmas Twinning: It’s a thing, and it’s super cute--matching PJs for everyone. Just take a look at your news feeds, you’re sure to see lots of twinning occurring on Christmas morning. You can take your twinning to the next level and have your PJs personalized. The online marketplace, Etsy, has tons of options for creating the look of your choice.
